Pile-sinking with the use of indentation method

Indentation method of pile-sinking is one of the most progressive ways of pile installing, as it allows to avoid the use of impact and vibration technologies.

Advantages of the pile-sinking indentation method:

  1. Absence of noise, which is especially important in densely populated areas.
  2. Absence of dynamic influence on the surrounding area.
  3. Fast and economy expedient in comparison with other technologies.

Piles material and size: 300x300 up to 400x400 reinforced concrete piles, 200 to 2500 mm diameter round and steel pipes are used for the indentation. Pile length varies from 3 up to 12 m.

Pile indentation technology

  1. Pile is placed into the jaws of the copra device with the help of a crane mechanism.
  2. After precise aiming, working cycle begins. Pile is sunk downwards under the molding pressure of two or four cylindrical pistons, actuated by hydraulic pumps.
  3. After the passing of drop-hammer device step (that usually does not exceed 2 m), sponges uncoils and transferred for two meters upwards.
  4. Metal simulator is used to press the copra when is approaches to the land.
  5. Installation moves to another point after pile indentation.
